I was reading an article on the polo shirt while waiting for a plane and that got me thinking about the amazing journey that piece of fashion has had in such a short time. I mean just a short while ago the polo was just a bit of athletic clothing for Tennis players and now it is a fashion symbol in clubs, bars, work and any other kind of function. It made me think, what else could break from athletics and become main stream like the polo shirt? Are we going to start seeing a line of high fashion sweat bands?
