Shoulder Pad Blazers are BACK!?

Are Shoulder pad jackets for women coming back into style?! Yikes! I thought we got rid of these with pegged jeans and hairspray. I hope that these don't come back into style but I can see that I am already bucking the trend as celebrities are starting to dawn them which is the beginning of the end for the rest of us. It's cool I guess but I am going to resist with ardent fury the adopting of this latest trend.

Return of the Leather Pants?

So I was at a pizza place last night with my dad and I saw some High School kids eating and two of the girls were wearing leather pants. I thought it was strange but I decided to investigate because usually HS kids know the trends long before someone my ages gets wind. So I did some research and apparently it is true! Leather pants are starting to come back in style in a big way! Very strange to me since I never thought they were more than something for a hair metal band to wear but they are back and here to stay. Paris Subway Dress

I am not sure I would wear this dress in Paris because of the very rude men there but I do think this is a good idea for a dress. Not only is it useful but it is also really quite beautiful with all the strong geometric lines and coloring on it. I think I could see this is as a strong summer dress while vacationing.

Killer Lip Gloss

Ok, I've tried lots of good no stick lip glosses and this one for sure tops my list. It's got sunscreen and that other good stuff in it, but the best part is the collagen makes your lips look like you've been going to a plastic surgeon (in a good way) for the past ten years. Save the Planet - Grocery Tote Bag

We can all do something that is going to be helpful to this Earth and for those that will inherit it from us. I think that one thing I am going to do is start shopping with an organic tote bag like the one below. I really like the idea of shopping with these because it doesn't pollute and is a bit more fashionable than a bag lady plastic bag on my arm ;)

I have to admit this is a really funny music video from the “Flight of the Concords” duo. Not sure I agree that fashion is danger, but some of those pointy hair does are for sure dangerous.

The Male Hair

Why is it that with us girls our hair is more beautiful when we spend hours making it straight, curly or just adding that bounce and sheen to it. But for men, the worse their hair looks the better it looks. I mean look at this celebrity below. His hair looks like a positive mess yet all the young girls are absolutely in love with him. Pretty interesting and a little annoying. It has to be so easy to be a guy!

Deadly Sin Wine Glasses

These are really cool wine glasses designed after each of the seven deadly sins. I would say that these would look great in my apartment for a party but I would be so worried about someone breaking them that I doubt I would ever let them get used. Sad but true..

Bangs are Going Strong!

Who would have ever thought that bangs would come back in our lifetime and do so well on young girls these days? Well I didn't at least. But I am happy to see them back I think they look sophisticated and young without coming off as dated. I love the make over that is shown above because it brings her hair around her face and frames her eyes really well. I think bangs are back and are here to stay indeed!
