Evolution of the Sports Skirt

It's amazing to me how womens' sports used to be more about being prim and proper than they were about actually being athletic. Now that has changed and women are some of the top competitors in the world in all fields and I firmly believe that if you put us in the ring with boys we would be winning just as much as we would be losing. That said, I thought it would be interesting to look back and see how womens' athletic attire has changed over the years.

Pretty stark differences I know. I think it shows that women have come a long way and that we can do it while still looking good ;)
