Campaign Make-up

One thing that is really amazing about politics is that it is about policy, but it is also about image. The president candidates have to look presidential, which goes from their suit to their face. Yes most men don't wear make-up but you can bet your bottom dollar that Obama and McCain are wearing make-up. The difference is the type of message each is trying to send with the make-up. For McCain, the make-up is about showing LIFE, he needs to seem young, viral and ready for anything that comes at him. Look below, would you think he is in his 70s or maybe just late 50s? That is the power of make-up for McCain

Obama is a little different. He is young, so he needs to look stately and ready for action. That means no greasy spots on the forward like he feels like he has pressure on him, more about a matte feel to his entire face. Also, even though he is younger they need to keep just a HINT of gray in his hair, just enough to look experienced but not enough to make him seem like he is aging. He needs to look like he has the energy to change the world.

I personally like Obama's make-up just a bit more because it is less about concealing and more about bringing out his features.
