Trend Alert: Ruffles have ridges!

It seems that the latest trend is to where these highly voluminous top that has all kinds of ruffles and then to wear some low key bottoms. I think the idea is to draw an onlooker attention up the ruffles of the shirt an directly into the eyes of the wearer. That is why you see people with amazing eyes, like Rihanna able to pull a shirt like this off. I think that a person like Julia Roberts who is more about the lips wouldn't do so well in this top. I also think this top is great for bring volume to the chest area (even if you don't have any natural volume) and therefore making your waist and legs look thinner. So just for that fact alone I am all for it, go ruffles!
