Northface or Columbia

So it was a cold weekend last weekend and it made me realize how much I need to get a good wind stopping fleece jacket. So the two best for the price are obviously columbia and Northface. I need to know which to get. I think columbia has better wind stopping but northface is better at rain, anyone have any thoughts? It will probably come down to price in the end.
