Cute Rhinestone Bangle

I love the idea of this Bangle. It is sassy, cute and very fun looking. I am thinking this is the perfect compliment to a night out with the girls or a friday look in the office for a more casual day. It's a good addition to many different outfits.

Whoa Mini-Pompadours are in style?

To me there is nothing you can say that will ever make me think that the mini-pompadour is a stylish haircut. To me it should stay in the Victorian Era where it belongs. I give Michelle a lot of credit for trying to be a fashion trendsetter like JackieO was but I think that this is going a bit too far. I mean to me it looks like she has a giant weave that looks like an eraser on top of her head. It's a no no because it doesn't apply to any situation. Too formal and too outdated. Thanks Michelle for bring fashion back to the white house but lets leave this one style to the fashion museum.

The Half Windsor is back for men's fashoon

Thank Mad Men or alternative musicians that like to dress up, but the half windsor knot is now the new hot knot again for men's ties. I am actually really happy about this. I think the half represents a more acceptable fashion style. I feel the the full windsor is a knot that is full of itself and for those that want to show off. To me, the half windsor is a knot for sophisticated problem solvers. Just the kind of man I want in my life ;)

Art Prints are the Perfect Christmas Gift

I was thinking about what to get some of my high fashion friends for Christmas and I decided that an art print is the perfect gift for them. Think about it, if I got them clothes they would either hate them, be out of style, or never be worn because they clash. With a well done print there is always space on the wall of any room to share it. A print like the one below would never be turned down as a gift for the season. It would be cherished.

Maybe a bit much...

I know Neiman Marcus is nicknamed Needless Markup, but even this price is way over priced. This price is $5,000 just because it is made of crystals. First off, it is ugly as hell and would only match what you are wearing if you were on a beach. And secondly why would I want a purse that costs more than my car???

I don't think so...

The Jean Back Pocket Flaps

I am not sure what era the jean back pocket is from but I can tell you that I am not a fan. This trend is much too classless for me. It takes jeans away from the roots its created when they were for the working man and trues them into some overly fashioned item. I am OK with that for other items, but jeans hold a special place in my heart as items that should always be classic and never fashion forward.

Could you've been fashion foward on Hallowenn?

Shoes like the one above beg the question (very quietly of course) that maybe a girl like myself could have been fashion forward on Halloween and not just dressed up in some slutty costume like all the other sluts out there. I still think it is next to impossible but it is an interesting idea to consider.

The Leather Half-Boot

I was looking at a pair of leather half-boots like the ones above and that got me thinking about how fun a boot this can be. It's perfect for jeans because it doesn't go all the way up your leg and it looks really good with a skirt while hiding the ankles. I can't remember when these became popular but I think it is time for a serious come back on half boots
