Work it Bags

So I thought I would do a little bloggie post with some of the bags that I thought are great for wearing to work and out afterwards. Check out my favorites below. Of course Steven Madden is the best choice for price and flexibility (black is always a strong candidate) but there are some other really cool ones here. So check it out.

Funny Easter Card

Check out this hilarious Easter card that I found when searching around for cute Easter presents for my cousins (they are little kids). I am not sure that they would get a kick out of it because they are probably expecting candy from me and my Dad but at least it would be funny for the parents since they are still pretty young and understand the phrase "oh snap!" Anyway, I just thought I would share this card since it is so close to Easter right now and we can all use a funny Easter joke in this cold weather.

Shoe Wheel!

This has to be one of the coolest ways to store shoes that I've seen in a long time. Not only does it show off your shoes but it has to be a lot of fun to flip around in it. I bet it would also be a lot of fun to pick an outfit that would work with all colors (something in white or black) and then just spinning the shoes rack and seeing what comes out. That's a good time!

Paris Fashion Week

Paris Fashion Week is in full swing and I thought I would distill down some of the ready to wear dresses that I thought you might be seeing on the rack coming soon. Of course they are going to be expensive but that is why they are my favorites! See below.

J Crews New Shirt Line

I don't really mind the t-shirt culture that much. In fact I like how much art and style it has brought to something that used to be very plain and boring. But I do have to say that I really don't think brands like J. Crew and Banana Republic should be doing things like this. I mean they make great fashion for work and formal events but when it comes to t-shirts it is a clash between an attempt at simplicity and overly ornate designs. I think that they need to stick to what they know which is formal fashion and leave the t-shirts to companies like Metro Park.

Speech Bubble Plates

These have to be the cutest plates for entertaining guests I have ever seen! They all look like cartoon speech bubbles and I could just imagine you could have different style of "loud" foods on each plate. Think of it you could have cheese on one, and bread on another and make it look like they are talking to each other. Or, better yet, have a PB&J setup and make it look like they are having a conversation - they work so well together!HA! Anyway I just think these are the cutest things and would be great for guests to see and share in the joy of these plates.

Flower Shoes for Spring!

Spring is just around the corner and I think it is time to celebrate and treat myself to some great flower print shoes. I really love these Keds I found below. They have a really hip and young feel with the cut of the shoe and the pattern that is printed on them. I think they could be perfect for the beach or even just walking around a city street shopping. Just good times, all purpose keds to enjoy the spring weather with. See them below.

Armed and Dangerous!

So all the blogs and fashion websites are a stir talking about those toned and beautiful arms of the First Lady. I think it is pretty amazing that she has basically taken on the JackieO persona of the first lady and is changing fashion while in the White House. Now there are tons of dress makers that are scrambling to get sleeveless dresses made for the first lady so that they can be the for-front of fashion. I love this new direction in the White House, finally someone with a sense of style and flair for something new!

Juicy Monopoly

This is just too cute not to talk about. Of course when I was growing up we of course had the normal version of monopoly and loved it. But now kids have all kids of options for monopoly like McDonalds and City monopoly. But I have never before seen a fashion monopoly until the Juicy Couture monopoly came out. I think this is infinitely cute and sick all at once, but I would get it for my kids if I had any kids that is...
